“Keeping Kids in Mind” workshop is a Post Separation Parenting course.
“Keeping Kids in Mind” is a dynamic 5 week course aimed at assisting separated parents who are struggling to co-operatively co-parent supporting their children. Parents are challenged to refocus on better understanding their own children’s needs during this time of family change, learn strategies to rebuild resilience in their family and develop child focused ways to negotiate with the other parent.
This course examines issues such as:
- Grief and Loss after separation
- The Hidden World of Children
- Rebuilding Resilience
- Bridging the Gap
- Looking Back, Moving Forward
Workshops will be conducted under Covid-19 Govt Guidelines including distancing of 1.5m and hand sanitizing throughout workshops. In case there are more restrictions, the workshop may be adapted as ONLINE Course. Participants will be advised.
All participants must register early their interest in attending the course and participate in a pre-group interview prior to the course. Spaces are limited due to Covid-19 safety restrictions.
This course runs for 5 weeks Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm commencing 23 February 2021 to 30 March, excluding 9 March week off, at CatholicCare Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Blacktown at Cardinal Clancy Room, St Patrick’s Church, 51 – 59 Allawah St, Blacktown NSW 2148. Free Parking at St Patrick’s Church/School car park.
The course fee is $ 120 for all sessions. Includes Workbook. Concessions are available.
