This funding will assist us to be a strong and visible provider of care for Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, in our mission to help our aged care clients to live with joy and purpose.

 

About you

You have a genuine desire to enhance the lives of our aged care clients and where applicable, their carers to remain independent in their own home and retaining positive connections with their local community. You genuinely care about the wellbeing of your clients and, as such you are naturally empathetic yet driven to achieve the best outcomes for those you are supporting.

You are a problem solver and a natural negotiator. You have a ‘can do’ positive attitude, and you get along well with people from all walks of life – people feel comfortable with you.

As a reliable person, you are happy to work in the office or to head out with your client for a day in the community or at their home.

You are naturally someone who lifts others and empowers them to ‘have a go’ at activities designed to improve their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

And your values align with ours.

About the role

This role is all about making a difference and enhancing the lives of our aged care clients and where applicable, their carers to remain independent in their own home and retaining positive connections with their local community.

To do this, you will confidently support your clients with day-to-day living, such as personal care, mobility and meal preparation.

You will actively look for opportunities that will help your client achieve their goals both at home and in the community.

And you will take the time to understand your client’s needs and goals to ensure your time together enhances their life.

Key to the success of this role is developing a professional and quality relationship with your client and their family.
