Recently CatholicCare facilitated a Creative Youth Competition for 10-18 year olds living in the Blue Mountains, where we asked them to be creative and send in original works.

In this series, we will be displaying the winning entries across the different age categories.

This post will highlight our 1st Place Winner in the 16 to 18 year old category – Louis. Congratulations!!!

“In life, it’s good to have a goal. Whether it’s big or small, it’s probably best to have at least some idea of where you want to go in life, which I know is hard in these times but for me personally it’s just fun little projects that really help me deal with challenges and give me at least some idea of where I’m going in life and in this crazy world we live in. I guess in a way, that’s what “SHELL BOY” was. Just a reflection of this wild world and what we can all do to make it a better place to live in.”
